We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. The planner, who has never been to AC decided to pick this out based on their prices and distance to the boardwalk. We found out it was not worth it. The check-in was long, the room we were put in was dirty and smelled of smoke, the service was slow, and the food should never be served to anyone or any animal. I suggest no one stay in this place ever. My 24th birthday will be forever tarnished thanks to this place.

Check in took forever. There were a ton of people in line. The first room we were put in was dirty and the television did not work. So, we were moved to a new room, but it was not much better. At least the television worked.
I am very likely
to return to the Showboat Casino and Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Excellent
Even though we had to wait 40 minutes in line to check in, it was worth it. I asked for a room with an ocean view and our room was exceptional. Super large bathroom, marble, large tub and shower. View was wonderful. I would definitely stay here...

I have been going to Atlantic City for the last 10 years and by far the worst casino is the showboat. It has horrible service, terrible food, a small gaming area, and an disgusting atmosphere. If your hungry after 10:00pm, your out of luck because all the restaurants are closed. They play bad music all day, it makes you want to jump off the roof. Please, never go here, it is absolutely the worst.

The Showboat hotel is my favorite casino in Atlantic City. It is fun and exciting and the entire staff is friendly and always willing to go that extra mile to make my gaming experience special. The newly renovated rooms are great and the restaurants have a fabulous variety of food. It is the best value for your gaming dollar with the Total Rewards that is transferable to all other Harrah's properties. Our casino host always treats us great.
I love to dress up and go to dinner with my husband. We love the Showboat hotel restaurant. Our host always makes sure we have wine and platters in our room and this added attention always adds to our gaming experience.
