Forfeited one day to leave Shoreline (lost money) within minutes of arrival after looking at deluxe garden view room. Very old/dated furnishings (for example old recliner chair/older sofa/small tv), unsure of garden view (little grass outside door/sidewalk/another blue painted door across from our door). Suite had damaged louvered tri-fold door separating bedroom from narrow living/kitchen. Bedroom/bath had no air conditioner we could see. TV in bedroom is 13". Air conditioner is window unit in area over kitchen sink facing a tropical bush. Walking to room down narrow sidewalk had grilling done with smoke and food odors/people drinking in wood chairs to left of our blue wood door. We ventured down the street to another hotel with huge pool/oceanfront balcony for same price with more amenities.

We have stayed at this motel for years. It has been remodeled and the rooms are very nice. They are really clean also. The thing we love the best about shoreline is that it has been such a great family vacation place, and is not high rise. It actually has grass, and is not just concrete, and they cater to families. The staff is great about working with you, and we highly recommend shoreline/cabana colony to all. You won't be disappointed!

They had a friendly and helpful front desk staff. The maid service was good, but none of the maids understood English. The outside of the hotel is somewhat deceiving. The rooms are actually better on the inside then what they appear to be on the outside.
