53 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
First of all, my NY office booked an extra night since I was checking in at 7 am and the hotel gave away my room. So, there I was after 20 hours of travel, bone-weary, and jet lagged, and no hotel room. I had to wait until lunch before we can check in and the US $400 a night room was small, with dust balls under the bed, paper thin walls (we would wake up at 3 am when the revelers came home all drunk and noisy!) and breakfast was not included.
So it's designed by Philippe Stark and owned by Ian Schraeger, so what! We moved to a much better, quieter hotel a few blocks away called The Colony, which is way better than Shore Club except they don't get featured in the E-channel. But if that's your scene I guess you will like the Shore Club, but it sure left me cold.

I loved this place. But then again, who doesnt like being treated like a princess? It's very sleek and modern here, so if you're not into that kind of thing, you may not be as comfortable as I was here.
The pool was the place to find me here, I couldn't get enough. We had a great view of the ocean from our room and caught many fabulous sunrises and sets. It seems more tuned for the more moneyed set, but if you can ride along, by all means do.
