The hotel was very dirty, needs upgrade, and was not correctly represented by advertising. We did not even stay one night...we switched hotels.

When we arrived, they had no record of our reservation and no available rooms but one, a smoking room that smelt terrible. I had my reservation number and a very lackadaisical front desk staff eventually called somewhere and was able to confirm that I had, indeed, made a reservation for that day. We were sent to another hotel about ten miles away but we were given bad directions on how to get there. I think the thing that bothered me most was that the front desk staff expressed very little concern or sympathy for this huge inconvenience on a day we had planned for celebrating. I will think twice before staying at another Shilo hotel because of this experience.

The hotel was easy to find, with a friendly staff. The beds and the pillows were below average as there were only two small pillows on king size bed. Overall, it was not bad for the money, but not great, either.

The personnel at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming at arrival and departure.

We have stayed at this motel several times. We registered in advance, and the room was ready when we arrived. It is close to Washington Square.

They have nice rooms. There was peace and quiet. There were no hassles at check-in.
