Mediocre
We paid $* for this room after looking at other reviews and seeing the pics online. This room is like a Motel 6 with two bed. Nowhere near a suite. The bathroom is smaller than any bathroom I have ever seen in a motel. The bathroom door opens into...

Okay
The location was right next to the freeway and our room was on that side so there was freeway noise. The sleep timer didn't work on the tv. The beds were hard, pillows inadequate, and my sheets felt like sandpaper. The bathroom was so small that if...

The Shilo Inn in Tacoma was nice, clean and comfortable. The stay was set up by my travel office, so I'm not sure how that easy/hard that part was. As for the room, it was clean, especially the bathroom..surprisingly so for the price. If I remember correctly the room rate I had was $99 with two full/queen size beds and all the standard amenities for this size hotel. The free breakfast was something to look forward to. Fresh fruit, juices, coffee and waffles cooked infront of you there in the main sitting area. It also had a gym and swimming pool. Overall, a very nice place for the price!

Stay here only if you want your property and medications stolen. One in our group had his room completely cleaned out (clothes, computer, shoes, and luggage). I discovered my pain meds missing after arriving home.

I visit my family a lot in Tacoma, and since I know the area and the choices, this was at the top of my list for cleanliness and safety because there are only about three decent hotels in Tacoma. I would recommend the Shiloh Inn, in fact, I am going back this month and will be staying there again.
