I don't usually review a hotel but the public needs to be warned about the Shilo. Travel agency did not send our reservation so the desk staff treated me rudely. The entire hotel smelt bad. The lobby and elevator were dirty. Then there was the room. ...

Booked a king suite, got 2 queens. Asked for nonsmoking, room smelled of smoke. Asked twice for a crib, never got one. No towels at pool, asked twice never got any. Pool was nice but hot tub was green. I think they are under staffed. Good...

The staff was rude and unhelpful. The pool was semi-closed for a bacterial outbreak. One of the elevators was out of order, the ice machine didnt work, and the room service menu was out of date...items that werent offered or made were still listed.
