Horrible
There were 4 of us, 2 kids, 2 adults, on our way to Tahoe, one day of skiing at Mammoth. It was an average low budget hotel, a ripoff. The room temp felt like 90 degress and we couldn't lower it, so we open up the window to get some air as we...

Horrible
As a frequent traveler to Mammoth Lakes, I know it's not the cheapest place, especially at the height of ski season. However, the Shiloh has set a new low for value not received for the money.

The service was ok. The hotels only elevator was broken, the toilet in our room was broken and the hotel smelled like dead fish. I would only recemend this hotel as a last resort.
39 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I've been to the Shilo Inn at Mammoth Lakes a number of times over the years on business. Lately, it's been looking a little rough around the edges with deteriorating carpet in the rooms, beat up finishes, etc. The staff is usually fairly helpful and polite. I'd still consider it if it weren't so expensive, but with the rates they're charging I don't see the value. In Mammoth there are much better deals at other locations.
