Shilo Inn Boise Riverside is a hotel with comfortable rooms located near the city center on the banks of the picturesque Boise River and the Greenbelt. The hotel's location makes a scenic walk, jog, or bike ride along the river easy. For indoor recreation, the hotel features a heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, and fitness room.Within two blocks of the hotel, guests will find several restaurants, including Charthouse, Magic Recipe, and Tepanyaki. The hotel is two miles from Boise State University and the Idaho State Capitol. The Boise Zoo is three miles from the hotel. Reach Bogus Basin Ski Area in 16 miles. Each King guest room includes a sitting area, television, table and chairs, writing desk, sofa, closet, vanity and private bath with shower/tub combo. Queen guest rooms include television, table and chairs, writing desk, vanity and private bath with shower/tub combo. Meeting room seats 60 maximum classroom style and 24 arranged for banquet seating. Shilo does not have food service on-site, but we would be happy to arrange catering service. We can provide coffee, bottled water, soft drinks, assorted pastries and cookies and would be happy to arrange catering service if your event requires food service.

I made a reservation through Hotels.com for my daughter, who was driving across country with her dog. I asked the reservation agent if the dog was covered under the price and was told yes. When my daughter got there the desk clerk was extremely rude

The hotel is well situated, with comfortable surroundings and environment. The hotel is easily accessible, close to events and entertainments. It is a good place to stay for a few days or for overnight and it is inexpensive.
The sound of the river running behind and the room comfort made me feel relaxed.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The continental breakfast was the best that I have received while traveling. The pool and the whirlpool were in great condition. However, the gym equipment did seem to be in disrepair and it was hard to work because of this.
The view from my window made me want to go out and see the city.
