We stayed here in June, 2006 - the first time we'd ever stayed at any Shilo Inn. We chose it because, with two young kids who sleep early, we need a suite. And also because it was the most expensive hotel we found in Bend, and we assumed that would...

Horrible
Reserved a suite, got a single room. Staff explained they don't really have any suites. Gnats and spiders in our room, and a beetle-like bug in the bed when we woke up. Complained to corporate and was told "suite" no longer means two rooms. (Also...

I liked the view right on the river. I liked the staff -- when I had a problem with my room, they were able to fix it right away. I liked the in-room jacuzzi tub.

The Shilo Inn in Bend, Oregon, is very overpriced. We had a free night, but the rate quoted was $175, which is highway robbery for a Motel 6 type room.
