The staff was extremely friendly and helpful...from the dining staff to the front desk. I think the rooms and the overall condition of the inn is a bit tired. It needs a facelift but of course keep the "inn" atmosphere.
I think the Sherwood is a beautiful inn, with a history of fine service. It's location acroos the street from the lake is ideal. The town of Skaneateles is a quaint and charming place. The service is very competent, the staff is well trained, ...
Really bad service, bad food and a snotty young staff, takes away from the beautiful setting. Room prices are fair. The view as amazing and the town is great.
We will definately return!!!!!

Excellent
The service was excellent. We were upgraded without asking. Everything was clean, well decorated, comfortable. There is a feeling of peace while staying there. The views are great! The breakfast was wonderful.
