Okay
The hotel is rated quite high. However, I didn't find it to exciting. The rooms were spacious, however my room had a bunch of aircon-vents from the neighbouring building right in front of the window. Quite noisy. I also found some pipes in the...

Good
When we booked to come down here I was still in need of an SPG stay. So we booked into the Sheraton on the Park as I felt the "Park View upgrade at check-in" rate I got was the best of the three SPG hotels for that time period. Even though the needs ...

35 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
This is a great hotel and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location is right in the heart of central Sydney and it all sits right on Hyde Park so you can easily take a run through the Botannical Gardens down past the Opera House. Plus, my room had clearly been refurbished with a great bed, bathroom and plenty of room. I was working in North Sydney, which was a 10 minute train ride away. Oh, and the service was great.
33 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
My husband had to go to Sydney on business so I joined him there. We stayed at the Sheraton on the Park which is on Elizabeth Street downtown, right next to David Jones which is a big department store. The hotel was amazing - it was pure luxury. It was refurbished in 2003 and they spared no expense. The staff were really nice and helpful - even to the point when we returned from a run they had a towel and water bottle for us as we walked back into the lobby - now that is service! And the best part is they had total back-out blinds where you could sleep all day if you werent careful. And you have to try the afternoon tea in the lobby lounge - it came on a huge 3-tiered tray and was enough for lunch and dinner combined. When I go back to Sydney I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Good
I have always preferred the Westin in Sydney to the Sheraton - I'm not sure why, they are geographically close, and the Sheraton is a little bit older (but only by 9 or 10 years), but this time I ended up at the Sheraton because the Westin was $200...
