Based solely upon location, this hotel has great promise; however, Starwood Resorts has done nothing of substance to make this a true 4-star hotel as it is rated. Our non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, for example. Also, there was a "help us conserve" card in the room encouraging guests to not have beds made up daily nor towels replaced daily. That flys in the face of all the electrical energy Starwood is wasting with TONS of energy-sapping, inefficient incandescent bulbs in all lighting fixtures--except those in our room that had NO bulb in them. Hallway carpets are tired and rippled up, too. It would appear that Starwood is merely bleeding this property of every dollar they can without investing anyting in it.
