We were extremely happy with our choice to stay at the Sheraton Society Hill. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the front door service, the great assistance of the front desk staff to accommodate our early check-in with a fantastic room, a good tip from the Concierge as to where to dine for late breakfast (Mrs. K's), and the clean & beautifully-decorated room (we were pleased to use a hotel bathroom without mold around the tub & on the shower curtain – hats off to the maid service). Other staff we encountered was very pleasant also. Great team! The location is ideal - walking distance to the busy Downtown & the attractions (quiet side of Downtown). The hotel is definitely a must for our trips to Philly.

The location was ok, the comfort was good and the service was good. I would have preferred if the maid had waited until we left the room and then come in to make the beds and replace the towels. Instead, we spoke with her in the hallway and she asked if we needed service. We then only mentioned clean towels. The pool area did not have an adequate supply of towels on any night we were there. I wished the breakfast was set up for take out service to include trays and disposable bowls, plates and cups. The courtesy folders in the rooms need to be updated. The vending machines were no longer available at the hotel. They should bring them back. The room service was too pricey for us. The rooms should include a local telephone book with yellow pages. My advice for other tourists is to stay in the historic district and take a cab or a trolley instead of walking everywhere.

It was a repeat trip and the experience was normal as usual.

The hotel is very convenient to the Independence Mall area. The service is excellent. The hotel atmosphere is excellent.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They greeted me by name on arrival.

They are generally clean properties. They are usually in convenient locations. They’re somewhat overpriced, but usually consistent and reliable. Their on-site restaurants are horrifically, almost criminally, overpriced and completely unaffordable for a family.
