I think it is a great clean place, and the price is reasonable. I travel to Hawaii about twice a year. I stay with my family when I go there but I also go to San Diego frequently and I stay at the Sheraton. I have stayed at other hotels there before.

The tv equipment did not work properly; the staff made us feel as if we were putting them out to get it fixed. They never offered to place us in another room and after phone conversations with one person, that person did not leave a note for anyone.

A maid threw out a bag of our souvenirs from our trip. The hotel staff has 'blown off' our attempts to get this situation resolved. They have been uncooperative.

When I arrived, I was assigned a smoking room. It was not pleasing. The 2nd night I was upgraded to a much better room, and my whole experience changed. The bedding was great in this Sheraton, but the furniture and bathrooms were cheap-feeling.
