As a salesman with a very busy schedule, I dont need a lot of frills when I look for a room to rest for the night. A clean bed and a working television are simple requests. Unfortunately, neither could be had at the Sheraton. This Sheraton was above and beyond one of the worst in which I have stayed. Normally, I applaud the Sheratons clean rooms, crisp linens, and amenities. It is my assumption that it is time for their franchise services to do some quality and consistency research. My room and the hallway leading to it reaked of some undefineable odor. The linens on my bed gave the impression of being clean, but still smelled of whomever slept between them previously. When I discussed these concernes with the front desk staff at checkout, I was greeted with a poor, uncaring attitude, and my request to speak with a manager was denied. Sheraton, if you are reading this, it is time to smarten up. I will not be staying in a Sheraton again.

Find a better place to stay.? -

We could not stand the smell and overall condition of the room that we were to stay in. It looked like no one had cleaned it from the night before. When we went to complain the front desk people were completely useless and confused. There are much better places to stay in SLC.

The rooms and facilities are filthy to the point of being unsafe and unsanitary. The employees were rude and arrogant. I still cannot believe how atrocious this dump was.

Stay somewhere else if you can. This hotel features bad service, all the way up to the managers of this place, smells, unmaintained and dirty. When speaking to the manager of this place I WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED!

One word = fumigation.

I don't know what's going on there, but the whole place smells like sheep. Its everywhere, in the rooms, the elevators, the lobby, the sheets.

Who knows, maybe they let sheep stay in the rooms with guests.

My room smelled terrible and was probably one of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in. Called the front desk to complain and was given the runaround. Will not stay here again. This place makes motel 6 look very inviting.

We were told that the breakfast would be free, then received a bill.

We were charged a daily fee for parking.

We requested a fridge to keep medication cold and one was delivered from storage with someone's moldy restaurant left-overs inside.

Overall I thought the hotel was overpriced, poorly managed and service was below par.
