I liked the hotel's good location and friendly staff. I did have to confirm with national HQ because they did not credit me in the rewards program for my stay. But it was resolved.

I think it is an older property that has not been updated nor well maintained. I took a large group and they paid little attention to updates on room requests and locations. The security woke up the group leaders in the middle of the night. The service at the front desk was slow and relatively unpleasant, but we did have several requests that they were able to honor, although there were unreasonable charges attached. My bill was incorrect upon departure and the girl who fixed it was rather unpleasant about it.

It was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel was near the ocean, it had great food and a helpful staff. I stayed in a comfortable room.

They offered excellent service. The room was small for the price. They had excellent food but it was expensive. I had a very comfortable and clean room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying at Waikiki Beach.

This hotel made me feel excited: There is plenty to see and do as first time guests.

I felt that the hotel gave me its worst room. I did complain and was moved the next day to a much more acceptable room. From that point, I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is quite lovely, has a great location and the staff were all very gracious and kind. My best advice is to move the bed to the lanai and sleep outside! Air conditioning is hard on your lungs and it was so beautiful to actually be able to sleep out under the stars!

This hotel made me feel welcome: The housekeeping staff was very kind and made sure I had the extra things I needed for having a baby with me.

The rooms were small with no frills. The bathroom was very small and the rooms were not luxurious at all. This hotel has a beautiful lobby, restaurant and pool areas. I was on a nonsmoking floor, but could smell smoke in our room from a nearby smoker; but this is not the hotel's fault. The hotel was very conveniently located and the employees were helpful when asked about local sites. The travel agent on site was very helpful in booking our tours for us.

We had a problem with our air conditioning: it never seemed to cool the room off. The staff was very friendly and gave us a small amount off our bill. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was knowledgeable and had someone there to help with tours. They had a very nice Polynesian show.

This hotel made me feel entertained: The show "Creation, A Polynesian Journey" was terrific. I highly recommend it. They had three offerings -- sit down dinner, buffet dinner, cocktail seating.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of Waikiki, and within walking distance from where we wanted to be, minutes from UH. We had a problem with the pay-per-view movie, but the hotel staff responded immediately and cared for the matter then sent an amenity. We appreciated their thoughtfulness.

It was a fantastic experience and a beautiful place.

I experienced problems with the on command movies.. Their engineering dept. Responded immediately and cared for the problem, was reimbursed the charge and an amenity was brought to the room.. They made us feel at home.

When we last visited, we encountered a very minor problem with the in-house movie. The engineer responded immediately and resolved the problem. They went a step further and credited me for the movie already watched as well as gave me another one and sen.

This hotel made me feel important: As an associate of starwood resorts, receive complementary room nights. I used some of those nights at the princess. The associates there are aware that am an associate however they treated me with the friendliest attitude. I felt as if was at home.

The view was less than anticipated - first visit to hawaii and we got a view of a parking lot. Part of this was due to the fact that we booked the room through a cruise line (add-on package). If had personally booked the room probably would have ask.
