40 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for business

It was a comfortable hotel, there was ample parking, except there was no elevator service for parking. The front desk staff was polite and helpful.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk worker was very nice and a gift basket was unexpectedly sent to our room.

I am very likely to return to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel staff was very kind and compliant. Our room was cleaned everyday and it was very pleasant to walk into a fresh room every evening.

It's a great location. It's within walking distance to Waikiki Beach and great shopping. It is clean and has a nice pool area.

This hotel made me feel excited: It's a beautiful environment. There were flowers everywhere and flowers available for the women's hair. It made me happy to be in Hawaii!

I am very likely to return to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

44 year old woman with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

The location of the Sheraton was perfect. Our room was just above the international market and I enjoyed not only seeing the ocean, but experiencing the sounds of music from the market. It's a very short walk to the beach and had ample stores to shop within feet of the hotel. This was the best vacation we have ever had and a big part of it was the comfort of our rooms.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The beauty of the hotel made us comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. My family was well taken care of.

I am very likely to return to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I've stayed in several Sheraton hotels and I am always pleased. The Princess Kauilani was no exception, with friendly service, nice facilities, and an efficient check-in and out process. There was a great sense of aloha during my stay.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The lobby was open-air and very peaceful. The rooms were comfortable and very nice.

I am very likely to return to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.

I thought that the lobby was beautiful, the buffet breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. However, the rooms were old, run down and dirty. I stayed for a business trip but if it was up to me I would never stay again unless the rooms get redone. The location was great, everything you needed was in walking distance.

I am not likely to return to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.

The location of the hotel was perfect. We were with a large group and the hotel staff was wonderful, welcoming and they always made things work for us. I would not hesitate to stay at this Sheraton hotel or any hotel in their chain.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I was pleasantly greeted by all employees as they walked by or came to the counter to help. When calling for extra towels, there was no problem at all. The lovely flowers were an added special touch that we enjoyed.

The hotel had a great location, great views, but small rooms and out of date bathrooms, furniture and lighting. The hotel had poor relations with nearby sister hotels.

This hotel made me feel entertained: I loved the nightly entertainment.

The hotel was fine. The facilities were good. I was there during the earthquake and they were one of the few places that had emergency power so I was able to take my bags down on the freight elevator from the fourteenth floor as we were checking out that day. All in all it was an interesting stay and the hotel employees did their best to help even with the problems that the island was experiencing. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. I would recommend it to others.

The hotel was close to the Waikiki beach. The room was small for the price. They had an excellent brunch buffet but it was costly.

45 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Take your chances, Russian roulette. We stayed here in Aug 2004, and when we checked in the first night, we were completely shocked at how bad the service was at the front desk that night. The lady at the front-desk insisted that they were fully booked and very busy, so despite our Starwood status, the hotel could not accomodate our king size bed booking. But she said she was going to hook us up with a city view room. So she put us in a standard room on the "city" view side of the hotel with 2 double beds. Let me translate, "city view" = loud street noice and honking cars throughout the night. The room was excruciatingly tiny, the beds were small and lumpy, the room had a tiny A/C unit, and worse of all, the noise from the streets were aweful. BEEP... BEEP... BEEP... it sounded like the daily garbage truck was backing up onto our lanai (balcony) in the morning. Even though the hotel was right across the street to Waikiki beach, we weren't going to spend the next 4 days in this hotel if we had to stay in this room. So we complained to the manager the next day, and they were thankfully able to accomodate our plea for a king-size bed. This time, the front-desk person treated us very nicely and moved us to the tower side of the hotel. It was like moving from a third world nation to Beverly Hills. Granted, the new room wasn't the Ritz, but it sure felt like it after a night in the other room. The king size bed was firm and comfortable, and there was central A/C in the room (a must in Honolulu). We were high up enough not to hear the street noise and we even had a view of Waikiki beach. So if you decide to book here, make sure you are in the tower side of the hotel. Check out the accomodations: [...] Good luck!

The location for this hotel was excellent. It was a block from the beach, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. I recommend that you catch the show by Wayne Gabaylo across the street at the Kings Village at night.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The rooms were nice and had great views. The attitude of the hotel was not in your face but rather very welcoming and warm.

I am coming for my third time. I will be coming October 2007 with a group. This will be my 3rd time at your hotel. I think it is beautiful, open, lovely garden and nice evening entertainment. Thelocation is very convenient. I was delighted to see the ocean from my room. Being somewhat handicapped, I hope you will assign me a room near the elevators. I come for Halloween and appreciate the tables and chairs out by the sidewalk.

I am very likely to return to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.

33 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

This was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at and I have traveled a lot. All of the employees of the hotel and even the people working at the area businesses were incredible. The location was perfect right on the beach. The only negative I can think of was that the prices of the meals in the hotel were a bit high but the food quality was great.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: I did not feel rushed when getting checked in or out. The staff went the extra yard to provide any assistance with any questions I had.

I am very likely to return to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.

I think it is an older property that has not been updated nor well maintained. I took a large group and they paid little attention to updates on room requests and locations. The security woke up the group leaders in the middle of the night. The service at the front desk was slow and relatively unpleasant, but we did have several requests that they were able to honor, although there were unreasonable charges attached. My bill was incorrect upon departure and the girl who fixed it was rather unpleasant about it.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.
