It was a nice, comfortable place to stay with friendly employees.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The bed was more comfortable than I expected.

The hotel air conditioning and heating was at best inadequate. The hallways where probably eighty five degrees and the meeting rooms felt like sixty degrees. When several of my associates asked about the problems with their room units they where told the hotel was conserving energy.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bar did not have any video or pinball games. There were not many bars nearby.

The hotel had wonderful employees who were friendly and helpful. But food service was limited and expensive; the gift shop gave poor service -- I could not get assistance; the guest room air conditioner was broken.

The hotel was okay. But they could not get me in a room until 5 PM and the check-in took long. I'm SPG, I expect a quick check-in. Overall, it was an okay, slightly below average Sheraton. The bed was good as usual

I liked the fact that the Sheraton made an exception for the Hurricane Katrina victims, they allowed us to bring our animals up to our rooms which is usually against policy. That made me really happy.

Sheraton North Houston Hotel

The main reason one would want to stay at the Sheraton North Houston Hotel is that it is very close to Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. That being said, I had a somewhat early flight to Guatemala and wanted the convenience of being near the airport. I usually have trouble sleeping in airport properties, but I slept like a log at this Sheraton thanks to its soundproof windows (I could see planes in the distance but I could not hear them) and its comfortable king-size Sweet Sleeper Bed. My room seemed spacious enough, with a small sofa, glass coffee table, and writing desk next to the king bed. This was probably because my room was located on the club level, although I did not seem to get any additional amenities like free breakfast or snacks. There was a club lounge by the elevators, but there was not much going on here. The bathroom was average in size and quality, but you get a full compliment of toiletries. The free shuttle bus is a great service, and usually runs three times per hour to the airport. There is a free parking lot if you are driving, and the busy street also has a bus stop for a route that connects the airport with downtown Houston. The front desk staff was very helpful with my questions and needs, and they did not have to answer to my complaints because I had none.

It was a wonderful hotel, the staff was warm and friendly without being intrusive. I knew they were there if needed. The beds were very comfortable, more so than the one I have at home.
This hotel made me feel inspired: I was inspired to relax and have fun. We attended an anime convention there.
