The Sheraton on Canal is right at the edge of the French Quarter, which is where we spent most of our time, so we got the convenience of a a French Quarter hotel, without the noise. I can't say enough about the staff; the maids kept the room...

The location was fine but the cleanliness was poor. There was a dead mouse in the air conditioner and it stunk terribly and they were slow to resolve the problem.

Unfortunately, they did have our reservation, but it was for smoking rooms. As well, they advised that they would be able to allow us to check into the room without seeing our boss' credit card. That was not the case when we arrived.

The Sheraton Hotel was a very clean and friendly hotel. Upon arrival everybody was very happy to assist you in anything you needed. We stayed on the 48th floor and the elevators were not a problem. In fact they were like taking off in an airplane....
