Sheraton New Bern Hotel and Marina

Very quiet and relaxing . nice deck to have a beer and view of the marina.

very elegant hallways and lobby. the downside was the remodeling going on,

my view of the over loaded dumpster, restaurants were closed and the roof we overlooked was dirty...also no hot water in the a.m. and they charge you for a newspaper they put by your front door.

staff was very nice!

The outer appearance is misleading. I spent $300 on a room with a Jacuzzi for one night. All the furniture was worn out, much like the kind found in second-hand stores. One chair had a large hole in the arm. No chairs matched. This room was for my brother and his girlfriend. It was embarrassing. What was even more embarrassing was being told that they had found a condom under the bed! The Sheraton needs to get its act together and soon because new condos are being built nearby and I for one would never recommend anyone staying at that rundown flea bag.

I like this hotel but it is going through a major upgrade and it will be even better when done.

My husband and I were on our first trip to North Carolina. We are in our mid 50's.

The service was great! From the moment we checked in until we left everything was geared for our comfort. We arrived early but that was not a problem. They checked us in to a very nice room with a great view of the marina. They had a meet the manager happy hour which we enjoyed. The deputy manager was there and she was more than helpful and interesting to talk to. Met some of the guest which was nice. The front desk staff was the best. Anytime we stopped and ask them questions they were more than helpful and pleasant. Our bathroom fan had stopped working, we reported it to the desk on our way out in the morning and there was a service man fixing it before noon. We ate on the outdoor patio, in the lounge area and in the restaurant and everyplace we were was the best service possible. The hotel is a short walk to a great downtown filled with eating places and shops. Everyone downtown was pleasant. We would definitely recommend people to stay here and we would most definitely stay again.

I had a great stay. There were clean rooms and the staff was exceptional. It was a beautiful location.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The staff was great. They called me by name, and were on top of everything.
