Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel Conference Center Hotel - Page 1

We booked/paid in full 2 months in advance; even paid the extra $20 for the third person. Got confirmation that we would have a room with 2 double beds. Upon check-in we were told that we would have a room with 1 king bed, and that it was 'first come, first serve'; the hotel was full because of a conference. In talking to other conference attendees I found out that there were people staying alone in rooms with double beds who didn't request double beds. To add to our poor experience we ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We had to wait 5 min before we could track down our waitress, gave her our full orders, then had to wait another 10 min before she finally came with our coffee, and another 30 min for our food. When we questioned the delay we were told that we should have paid for the $15 buffet and gotten our own food.

Everything was perfect and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: They responded to all my needs.

They have nice, clean rooms. The hotel is extremely conveniently located near New York City with plenty of parking. The newsstand was in the process of being moved to a newly renovated location, but the staff was friendly and they did not mind digging through boxes for something I really needed that could not wait to be purchased somewhere else. It was a non eventful, pleasant stay.

This hotel made me feel welcome: We arrived at a time when there was not much activity going on in the hotel, so we got all the staff attention. They were friendly and professional.

I liked the location, which was convenient to New York City. The price I paid was a good value for the excellent quality of the room and the hotel overall. In Manhattan, I would have never gotten such a nice place for that price.

This hotel made me feel hip: The lobby was decorated in a hip style.

The beds are what always brings me back to the Sheraton hotel. It has a perfect location for the football games.
