I had a great stay, no complaints. We were there when the earthquake hit and everything was very well taken care of. The staff even came around while we were evacuated outside to allow the building to be inspected to give us bottled water and fruit.
I am very likely
to return to the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel was nice, the pool was spectacular, the pool bar and hotel bar were good, the hotel restaurant was a little sub-par. Some of the food was not good and cleanliness was an issue in the restaurant. The overall resort was lovely and the setting gorgeous.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I stayed here for the second half of my week on the Big Island. The service was excellent and friendly. We were given a free upgrade on check in. Room service was very prompt.
The concierge was very friendly and informative regarding day trips to explore the island. Food prices were not cheap, but much better than other resorts. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was great fun. The location is about 10 minutes from town, but this makes the location more relaxing and isolated without too much hassle. It is located right next to the bay with kayak and snorkeling opportunities.
We took the TradeWinds Hula Kai catamaran for a luncheon snorkeling trip and had a blast. For convenience, we decided to attend the hotel luau. We were very impressed. The food and show were top notch. I would definitely come back again!

I was quite surprised and disappointed that the hotel did not provide room service. Since no phone numbers or menus were provided for the restaurant or the bar in the room, I could not even call down and order food and pick it up. The food at the bar should have offered some of the expected basics, like nachos. The coffee at the restaurant was horrible. The pool should have offered some privacy from the restaurant. Otherwise, the hotel was fine with a nice staff.
I am not likely
to return to the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa.
I would not recommend it to friends.

It is a nice hotel, just priced a little too high. The manta rays were cool. Also the trip to the volcano on the other side of the island was well worth it.

to return to the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa.
I might recommend it to friends.
