Once you get beyond the lobby, this hotel needs updating. Elevators have outdated wall trim. Hall carpets and walls needs refreshening. Tub faucet diverter barely worked and let more watere out of tub spout than came from shower head. Wall outlet by bathroom vanity was so worn that plugs fell out during normal use.

This hotel is in the heart of downtown Iowa City. It's within walking distance to the University of Iowa, Kinnick Stadium, Carver Arena, Hancher, and much more. The staff treats you like you are one of the family.

67 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

Its high priced due to the location. There was no hot water in the room both days. The facilities are older. We will book elsewhere in the future. I have received better facilities and rates at other Iowa City locations.

I am not likely to return to the Sheraton Iowa City Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

66 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

It is an older unit. The price was high for what I got. There was no hot water during mornings. I got apologies and a partial rebate, but no hot water.

I am not likely to return to the Sheraton Iowa City Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.
