Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel

I had bugs in the bathroom. The hotel had been paid with a voucher and also billed my credit card. I brought it to their attention and was given a receipt - only to find the charge on my card.

I think that the hotel is really nice. All the employees are very helpful, friendly, and great. The cold air-coniditioning and the pools are wonderful! The only thing that got me a little upset was that I had reservations for a double bedded room and when I arrived there, they said they were all out of double bed rooms. I had to stay in a king size with a sofa bed with friends. The next day they switched my room. The food in the restaurant there is awesome! About $20 for cab to Hershey which was pretty good. I recommend the hotel.

This "new" Sheraton hotel was amazing. We stayed here when it was a Wyndam last year. What a remarkable difference!

The pool and health club were fantastic and the service was remarkable. So close to Hershey, yet easy to get in and out. The new furnishings are super.

This hotel is beautiful. When you first walk into the newly renovated lobby, you automatically feel at home. The staff is very friendly. They make you feel welcome. They are very knowledgeable about the area and could give you directions anywhere.

The hallways are large and they smell great. For those of you who don't know this, Sheratons have scent system set up so the entire place smells the same way.

The rooms are newly renovated as well. They are tastefully decorated with beautiful pictures of downtown Harrisburg. Everything is neat and clean.

My family loved this hotel and will definitely stay there this summer for Hersheypark. I hope we can then enjoy the restaurant which was always hopping and the large inside/outside pool.

If you stay here, you will not be disappointed!

I am a leisure traveler from Springfield, VA. This hotel is far from completely renovated. Construction noises permeated the building late into the night, hallways cluttered with construction materials, sinks leak and don't drain properly, rooms still incompletely furnished, and construction punch list deficiency marking were all over the room. Worse yet, the staff didn't seem to care that I wanted to provide comments about the deficiencies in the room at checkout. It'll probably be a nice facility when renovation is completed but I'd stay away from this place for at least a year (starting from Jan 2007)
