Asked for a non-smoking room but they gave me a smoking room. Called the front desk and was promptly moved to a non-smoking room. Sheraton is going out of its way to make guest feel at home.

The Sheraton Gateway at LAX was very nice. Quiet rooms and very clean. Parking is an extra $10 a day, but that is the only downside I had with the experience.

The room looked good except that they may never vacuum under the bed. It looked pretty bad. I was just curious to see how detailed this hotel was so I looked under the two queen sizes bed and it looked disgusting.Oh well... I guess its the same...

The hotel forgot to clean the room on the first night. As we returned to the room at midnight, it took about 30 minutes to reach a live person on the telephone to request towels and toiletries. Quite difficult to contact staff after midnight.
