My husband and I went for a getaway evening to the 'new place in town'. Every person who worked there was not only polite, but went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well provided for. We have stayed in alot of lovely hotels, but the impeccable staff at this hotel was unmatched. Our view of the bay was beautiful, easy parking, and wonderful food. Go, and enjoy.
I had never seen a ballroom with such a view -- because ballrooms don't usually have windows. The Bayfront's innovative design came from DRS Architects of Pittsburgh, who solved the problem of a narrow plot for the the hotel by moving the ballroom up a floor, opening up one side to the water view. The hotel's design demonstrated what talented architects could do with even a restricting lot.
