Room was comfortable. The AC and elevators were pathetic, we had a tough time sleeping.“The hotel is okay for a stay if you are staying over the week end (couple of days) , the reception didn't look welcoming at all . The AC at the hotel was pathetic ...

The Sheraton Crystal City Hotel is conveniently located near the Metro, providing easy access to Washington D.C. across the Potomac. Allow several minutes to figure out the Metro fee payment system.
The hotel lobby is toxic at night because of the adjacent bar, where smoking is unfortunately still legal. Restaurants are a bit of a distance, so either expect a brisk half-mile walk for dinner, or a short drive. Parking at the hotel is expensive, but in-and-out privileges exist. Our room was pleasant and clean, and we avoided the far more expensive cost of staying at a comparable D.C. hotel.

The bathroom in our room was not clean. It is to far away from Washington for the price. You can stay directly in Washington for about half of the price at a nicer chain.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The hotel had a convenient location and it was easy to get to the subway system. I liked the nice club floor and lounge. The hotel restaurant was mediocre.
I am very likely
to return to the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel had a great location. It was very convenient to the business site, shopping, dining and public transportation. The room was very comfortable and the furniture was more upscale than I expected. The only negative was that the internet service was not wireless.
You could actually sit comfortably in the chairs for a long period of time. The bedding was softer than I expected. The pillows were plusher than most hotel pillows.
I am very likely
to return to the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel was overbooked. We had to wait for our rooms. The hotel staff was very nice. They provided ice cream, cookies and drinks for us. The buffet provided was very good and the staff was very friendly. The pool was a disappointment, along with the accommodations for the pool area.
The hotel colors were very calming. The room set up was made for comfort. The view was very soothing for the soul.
I am very likely
to return to the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
Missing wake-up calls and a broken room

Horrible
I had to stay there five nights. I called the front desk for a wake-up call every night. I only received the wake-up calls on three of the mornings. 60%.
There was something like a broken cover plate from an electrical box protruding ...

I travel regularly to DC for business and always try to find an internet discount for this hotel. Its a high quality, business class hotel with convenient access to the crystal city shops and restaurants and especially the Metro. If you're not adverse to the subway (it's a wonderfully civilized system), then you're one stop away from Reagan National and have access to all of DC via the subway.
