Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers Hotel - Page 6

When we checked in, the room we requested was not available, (king, nonsmoking). Also, when we booked online we were informed that we would not have to pay for parking, but we did. We ended up with a double non-smoking room. We will not stay at this hotel again.

It was a comfortable, friendly stay.

The hotel was close enough to all the things that we wanted to do and see. The staff was friendly and informative. Housekeeping was a little slow to respond to requests for towels. On a couple of occasions the phone rang at the front desk quite a while before it was answered.

It's in a great location, has nice views of the river, is clean, and has a friendly staff. I have no complaints.

The hotel was very nice. It had a great room for platinum members where you could get snacks and refreshments.

We had reserved a non-smoking room but the whole hotel smelled like a cigar because of the heavy smoking activity in the lobby. So we were upgraded to a room that was in desperate need of renovation; should I be thankful? I wonder what a regular room looks like. I would recommend always asking the question of when the room was last remodeled.

The location was central, service was great, and the concierge was knowledgeable. I would stay again.

We had to go through two hotel rooms to find a non-smoking room. The third room was not smoked in. The hotel rooms and hallway were not the cleanest. Other members were staying at Hyatt across the street and the level of cleanliness was world-class.

It was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed. The bed was the most comfy I have ever been in. The staff was friendly and helpful. I attended a conference there and they thought of everything. Dining was very nice.

It was a positive experience overall, but the lost and found wasn't very helpful.

The room was comfortable, but very noisy (we could hear the occupants next door all night). Guest services had a hard time filling our housekeeping requests (i.e., bring more shampoo and take out the trash). The pool was cold and dirty.

The location was great and service was prompt.

My room was not made up, despite a phone call, until after 4 PM.

It was generally a good stay, but all the restaurants weren't opened.

I liked the excellent staff and room. It had a European flavor to it that I liked very much. I have recommended others to stay there.

I liked their towers room because it includes a deluxe continental breakfast and food throughout most of the day in the club lounge for no extra cost. I disliked where they put the coffee maker. It was very unstable and makes a big mess when used.
