The staff of the hotel were all very helpful and went out of their way to help me. I was traveling alone with an infant and they were great. The room was clean and looked almost new. My only complaint is that parking in the garage under the hotel...

Good
I stayed at the Sheraton Baltimore City Center Hotel about five years ago, before the recent renovation. At that time the hotel was run down and I had no intention of ever staying there again.
In November 2008 for a family trip to Baltimore I...
I enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton while attending a conference. I had a corner King Suite in the North Tower that was very clean and comfortable. The traffic to get to the hotel was awful though. I would stay here again due to it's close proximity...

Dirty elevators with scratches and dirty spots. The gym place, you think that a virus can be transfered to you very easily. Outside the Hotel, you see beggers telling you things. You pay for the internet connection 9.99/day. The worst free TV progam

Horrible
When we arrived at the hotel we were informed that their lot was full, so the valet and the front desk directed us to the lot across the street. They joked around about it being cheaper and a better deal, wefound out why. Apparently the lot across...
Our experience was absolutely awesome! From the moment we stepped out of the rain and into the lobby we were enchanted. Janese Jones at check in could not have been more friendly or energetic. We had a lovely room overlooking a park-like setting, ...

Excellent
Very friendly and helpful staff. Helped us get a van ride to the powerplant and gave us the number to a local pizza place. Also brought extra balnkets and pillows to our room.

We took advantage of a rate special and spent a weekend getaway there, checking in late Saturday evening and checking out Monday morning (President's Day). As been brought up by others, the room was fairly small, but it did have a king size bed. Noting suggestions from other write-ups, we were content staying at the north tower, second floor. We could hear people talking/shouting well into the early hours Sunday morning, however. What killed it for us was the sound of construction Monday morning--started around 7:20 a.m. with what sounded like a 2-cycle leaf blower. It was continuous for about 40 minutes. Hoping to sleep in late, we did our best to ignore the sound until a little after 8:00 a.m. when someone in housekeeping rapped hard on our door. Thinking it was for one of the other two nearby doors, we initially ignored it. Then she rapped the door even harder. Thinking someone may be trying to get us out of the building because of a fire or something, we responded, only to be told she'll be back. Trying to salvage our weekend, we agreed it could have been worse--at least there was no jackhammering. Well, not to be disappointed, it started around 8:30 a.m. across the street. At that point in time we decided it was not meant to be and checked out a little after 9:00 a.m., sleepy and flustered! Stay there for the price, but be prepared for what you'll be getting!

Business travelers DONT STAY THERE. Would not recommend to anyone. I have stayed there for 3 weeks for business the price I paid was to high for the service I got.
The construction is done but the hotel still looks outdated. The hotel is located close to the hospital and a fire station but with the outdated windows which are not sound proof you will be waking up at various times during the night. You can here everything that is going on on the street even if you are on the preferred levels of the hotel. The rooms are small and dont be surprised that you can hear your neighbors, the walls are paper thin. The bathroom has a shower with hard to adjust water temperature. No free internet the price is $10 per day to connect. If you lucky you can request a microwave and a refrigerator if they are available. The hotel does not offer free breakfast on the weekends. During the week there is free breakfast for preferred guest at the 22nd fl in the club lounge. There is a laundry room which has 1 washer and 1 dryer which is free but its 1 for the whole hotel and getting the key for it its not easy. The maid service is unbelievable the room doesnt get restock and you have to call to get new towels and the vacuuming never stops at 8am and at 8pm. Also most of the staff doesn't seem to give a darn about the hotel.
