My daughter and I got a deal for one night 99$. The room was clean and had a great view, starbucks coffee in the room was great!. The beds were heaven! Most everyone was very friendly and called me by name, doormen were very helpful, the man who took my suitcases up to my room made me feel like I was putting him out though. Tun Tavern was good, slightly expensive.
For 200. a night this hotel is out of date, they charged 3.50 if you want WATER from your room, Coffee well NO Where to find a cup after 1pm, You can go to connecting tavern and pay 250. for a 4-5 oz. cup!! Connecting halls have NO ventilation you loose your breath crossing over, due to washing carpets and leaving them to dry Main hotel floors leading to rooms smells like wet dog..
Cleaning here is a great thing to look at, someone's room service sitting in hall all day Picked up after 6 pm. and even had a friend get a towel with holes in it.
This hotel is way overcharged at 200. a night One more thing, they could think of dusting some of the shoes the Miss America's might of worn. I understand they are old, but, the dust makes them way less appealing to look at.
OK, ONE nice thing I will give this hotel, the garden was very nice to sit in and take in some sun...

The hotel room was very clean, spacious, well decorated and with an amazing view. The bathroom was well equipted and very clean as well. I really enjoyed the service at this hotel and the concierge was very helpful in helping me find the hots spots...

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is a short distance from the casinos, but walkable even in the frigid weather we had. You can also take $2.25 bus rides there 24/7 if you don't want to walk. In-room free safe was a nice added feature. My ...
First: Note that is NO wireless internet access in each room. There is free wireless internet access only in a common area on the 2nd floor as well as free PCs. There is WIRED internet access in each room at either $9.95 for standard speed or $19.95 per day for high speed.
This venue was selected for a yearly association meeting, primarily because it is NOT a casino hotel. As a Starwood Preferred Guest (Gold) member I was upgraded on check-in to a larger room. The room had two non-working lamps, was missing an ice bucket and the safe was inoperable. Hotel security could not open the safe. The HVAC did not work. Housekeeping staff is in each room every day and there is no excuse for non-working equipment. I was moved to a suite.
LCD projector in a meeting room was set up, but much too close to the screen which resulted in an image too small to view. An imbecile could have done better. The attendees had to relocate the projector to fill the screen.
Food service and quality was quite good. The staff is friendly and accomodating, but a Starwood hotel should be much better than what I found.
The two rooms I had were in need of refurbishment. Carpets and furniture were stained. Also, in the suite, only one HVAC unit is provided which does not cover any areas other than the sleeping area. The other 2/3 of the space is unheated/unconditioned.

The hotel is great, comfortable, the service is kind, the room was very good, including the bed. It is walking distance to the boardwalk and casinos, and while you walk you can see the many shops there are along the way. Good to retire to the calm......
