27 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
They had extremely poor customer service. They were prejudiced and rude.
When we checked in late at night after being so tired we collapsed into bed. In the morning I woke up because someone was opening my room door and telling me that its checkout time and that we're stupid people for not waking up earlier. He was rude until I told him that I'll complain to the Better Business Bureau.

The facility was not clean. Carpets were dirty and apparently no one who works at the facility does windows. The grass area was covered with dog droppings as a result of pets allowed policy with no cleanup provided. I realize that pet owners (of...
38 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
My non smoking room reeked of smoke. I picked the location because of its proximity to the red line subway station at Wilshire and Western because I needed to get to the convention center. If you want an inexpensive hotel with easy access to the Los Angeles City College, this is the place to stay.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Shelter Hotel Los Angeles.
I might recommend it to friends.

This property is just after your travel dollar. They are NOT located anywhere near the convention center, which is why I booked them since all other hotels near CC were sold out. It's a $20.00 cab ride EACH way $$$; plus always had to call & ...
