Seton Hotel

Value for money - great location. Clean room and very spacious. Nice area, friendly staff. Obviously not the Hilton, but we were very happy with our 4 night stay here and would definitely book this hotel again.

-Rooms do not appear to be what is on website

-WOULD NOT SUGGEST FOR ANYONE; HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY!!!!

Well, if you want a cheap room in midtown...this is a cheap room. Don't expect anything more. I didn't know about this place, found it on a whim.

As for the room itself, basic, mostly clean though everything is well worn and old. If you're the kind who doesn't mind camping out in a tent or sleeping in a car for a road trip - sleep in the car! Well, almost. It's a bed but nothing even vaugely close to what you'd expect from "NYC".

It's in a great location and it's at a great price, but that's all that can be said.

Their staff is rude and incompetent. Do not expect your reservation to be honored. Do not expect friendliness. Do not expect anything. The front desk staff is one idiot after another. If you ask for an extra blanket, do not for one second expect to get it. Bring your own alarm clock because wake-up calls are non-existent. Do not spend much time in the hotel room, it will depress you.
