I really like Seneca. The rooms are very comfortable, well appointed and above all, REALLY QUIET!! I always sleep very soundly! Also, I can't say enough about the Steak House -- both the food and the service are utterly AMAZING! My husband and I go down once in a while for a long weekend and always enjoy ourselves. Gambling, as we all know, is at your own risk and I will have to agree that the slots don't seem to be cranked too high and the payback on the Video Poker is not the best, but for for this type of action in this area, it's a good time. On occassion, we have come ahead. We used to go to the Canadian Casinos, but the dismal lack of comps discouraged our return.

Let me preface this by saying that this casino is perhaps the biggest $***hole I have ever visited in my entire life. I have read the reviews of the retards below me claiming how great the place is, very amuzing indeed.
Not only could you die from the buffet, but the coffee seems to be spiked with rubbing alcohol.
The casino is your basic casino. Slot machines, table games, and a poker room. The payback percentages for the slots are VERY VERY low. Apparently they used to be much better when the casino first opened. However I'd say that the payback percentages hover in the 65-75 percent payback range. Compared to vegas casinos that payback roughly 90 percent on average you are sure to lose much faster here.
Ok, so ya a casino where you walk out with less then you came in with, shocker I know. However, usually promotions can lessen the burden a bit. Wrong! The casino frequently mails their VIP members slot dollars that they can exchange for free play on their machines. There is however one caveat to these promotions. They are only valid during specific times of the day, usually during the week. If you go on a Saturday like most people do, considering they work during the week you will be very upset as you can't even use them on Saturday, or early Sunday for that matter. Furthermore their promotions desk is run much like your local walmart customer service center. If you are a high roller or someone who spends a decent amount of money each trip they can't really help you. You will have to see a host who evaluates your play for comps and the like. Otherwise you are stuck with being rewarded strickly on the points you earn. You get 1 point for every $100.00 you bet and each point is worth One Dollar. This is honestly my biggest gripe with this casino. Their promotions really do leave a lot to be desired for someone like me. A few months back I dropped about 5 grand in their casino. I came back 2 months after and was told that they could not give me a free room, because I had not been there in 2 months. Honestly the reason I had not come back is because I felt I was not being treated as a valued customer. Even though I lost 100 times what their average customer loses they could not help me. All they gave me was a discounted room, and a buffet comp.. I mean seriously, any real casino would have taken care of someone like me, they did not. Why should I have to pay to stay there, considering the only reason I am there is to gamble in their casino. $200.00 room is worth having someone drop 5 grand. Simple business. Again they don't operate this way, so if you are a whale or someone who gambles good amounts this is not the casino for you. You will not be rewarded for your play, and in the end will feel like the place was a total bore.
Combining the poor slot payback percentages, and lack of comps there is no real reason for me to drive 2 hours to play here.

My husband plays the high stake tables quite a bit. The prices are really great if you take advantage of all the comps they offer. We went last night and even though they were "booked" we were able to get a nice suite. We also enjoyed a complimentary dinner at the steakhouse and massages. The hosts there really took great care of us. I play the slots and in about 3 hours of play I hit 3 jackpots twice on dollar machines and once even on five dollar machine. I was very satisfied with our trip to Seneca Niagara, will be back soon!!
The only downside is all the smoke- had to take 2 showers to get the smell out of my hair!!

Rooms are excellent, however little pricey, best way to get cheaper rate is
check daily on web site up to 6-8 weeks before going.Hotel plays games
and changes prices, like the weather. Steakhouse is AAAA+++++, however
only open certain days of week, call & make reservation is best advice.Poker room now expanded & very well run & nice atmosphere.Buffet meals not bad, but not good, depends on what you like.If you like second hand smoke, go to the Canadian side (Fallsview Casino), otherwise hold your breath or stay in your room.Repeat 20-30 time patron.

I absolutely loved my stay. The rooms were clean, absolutely beautifully decorated and they offered a very nice view of the falls. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. I could not have asked for any more comfort in a room.
While staying at this beautiful hotel with a casino inside, I felt totally excited.
I am very likely
to return to the Seneca Niagara Spa Hotel & Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
