I hate to give anyone a negative review, but the Seaside Inn was disappointing when my family of 3 stayed there recently. The check-in was quick, but I was surprised at having to pay, in advance, the entire bill for our reserved 4 night stay (minus the deposit charged to our credit card). I've never had to do that before at any hotel, even in "high season". The staff was very friendly though, and helpful with suggestions for restaurants, etc. Also, we were given an upgrade to a larger room at no extra cost, as they had over-booked our requested room. On the negative side, the room was DIRTY. Our child's bed had sand in it and the sheets looked as though they hadn't been changed since the last occupant. The bathroom had the basket of complimentary toiletries, but the lotion had been used and the toilet was filthy and stained. The little refrigerator was dirty. Something had been spilled in the bottom and had not been cleaned. It was nice having the refrigerator and microwave, but I would have glady traded the ironing board and iron for a small coffeemaker. During our stay, it rained hard and wet an area of carpet by the balcony door. We will not be staying there again.

The location of the hotel is great, in walking distance to lots of things. The room with two beds is much bigger than with one bed, the one with one bed is tiny. It is walking distance to the clean friendly beach. It is a great value for your money.

Just the atmosphere let you feel like you have no worries.
