47 year old with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
I love being able to walk out my backdoor right onto the beach. The gazebo is great for watching the sunrise and nice to sit and have a cup of coffee while reading.
The staff and management are friendly as well. The rooms are rustic, but that is part of the charm of the SeaFoam.
It has always been clean and well kept for an older building.

Horrible
In a million years, I never thought I would stay at a hotel that was occuppied by more roaches than people. Keep an eye out for them in the evening. They come pooring out of the cracked sidewalks and walls. Consider them souvenirs, once they hop in...

Horrible
Seeing the reviews and history of this motel we thought it would be fun. Access to the beach, the beach area, the housekeeping staff are the best. Upon arrival we found the manager to be very unfriendly, we felt like we were bothering her to have to ...

22 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Just like the old days, with a wooden screen door on the balcony, the beach steps from your room, great view of the ocean, and you can go to sleep listening to the waves come ashore. Very clean and very helpful and friendly staff. We love this motel and will be there next week. Can't wait.
we loved it and cannot hardly wait to go back

Excellent
We liked the front and back balconeys. The place was very clean. We were able to pull in and get a room for three days without a reservation. The staff and maids were great and friendly. We will stay there next year.

I have stayed here at least once every year for the past 25 years. The rooms & people always remind me of how the Outer Banks used to be-before everyone else discovered the area. Very clean and very nice people.
