My family and I stayed there last week and we had a wonderful relaxing vacation. I have been cut back from my job so money was an issue. The rates were so reasonable and the staff worked with my needs. The property was clean. The staff was friendly. The rooms were comfortable. We couldnt ask for any more!

My experience at the Sea Dip last week was horrible. Rm 830 to be exact! The room door would not lock. We did not get there until 12:00 midnight because of the traffic so of course we could not change. In front of the elevators in the old building where we stayed reeked of urine smell. That should have been a clue. Being that we arrived so late, we requested for our room to be cleaned after 12:00 noon the next day. We went to the beach and out to eat and our room was never cleaned that day. Only one roll of toilet paper was in the room the entire time until the we received one from the maid. When asked to receive an extra roll, we were told we would have to pick it up from the front desk. The Lazy River had cigarettes butts in it and was dirty. The outside swimming pool was filty and cloudy. The Health Department of SC will be notified and pictures were taken.

the first room we we're shown had carpet that was very wavy and smelled of mold and mildew.The second room we we're shown smelled of intoxicating chemicals and in bad need of several repairs.When we complained they refused to refund our deposit and we're told good luck on finding a room this time of year.With no place to stay we settled on the third room for an additional fee.When we started bringing things to our room the elevator was broken and we had to take 12 sets of steps to our room, with two small childern.There we found a bed that was broken,filthy carpet,a babies pacifier from a past guest,light fixtures that did not work,a bathroom door lock facing outside the bathroom instead of in.dried gummy stuff on the sheets etc.The next day when i went to complain the elevator was broken again.When i complained the manager told me nothing could be done that was the best room they had to offer.Do yourself and your family a big favor,get some good references and call the better buisness bureau.These people could care less."GOOD LUCK".

Horrible
This place had a good location.This place is not a good place to bring the family.The first room we we're shown had rolling carpet,smelled of mold and mildew and not clean by most standards.We complained to mangement that this was not acceptable....
