I just got back and had to tell you not to waste your money...

the rooms are just horrible...bathrooms do not have vents thus they are steamy and moldy, not to mention really small! The rooms have two double beds and the bedding is cheap...sheets that don't fit the mattress, cheap blankets and spreads that are very tired looking. The carpet and drapes are old and worn looking. The hallways are dingy and the service is horrible everywhere...nobody smiled or gave us more than a one or two word curt response. We asked for chairs and towels at the beach our first day there ...around 11:30am and all they said was no more. The guys working behind the chair/towel and umbrella table are rude. We asked for towels the next morning and the maid said she had none left and would come back later to clean our room...The whole place is run down and is in desperate need of a face lift. The only nice thing about this place is the location...right on a beautiful beach, outdoor pool and bar facing the beach and an indoor pool and arcade for the those rainy days...

Rooms are old and dingy. Vents in bathroom did not work. Mold on the window casings. Dining Room staff was rude seem to be inconvienenced if you needed something. Was more like a motel than a resort. Very decieving

The breakfast at the hotel was hands down the worst I have ever had. And I spent 14 years in the Army! Terrible eggs, inedible potatoes, fruit tasted like dirt.

I actually heard the manager tell some guy his wife had to pay for a meal because the guy's wife used his milk and their bowl and spoon for her "special diet" cereal.

I watched them from my table. There were 15 paying people eating with them and her cereal was only a small zip lock bag, what a putz.

The bathrooms at the hotel have NO vents. Nothing like a damp steam filled room to grow an interesting array of mold.

The room lock failed regularly. Had to wait 15 min to get the door fixed. Of course while me and the car keys were on opposite sides of the door.

I will never go there again nor recommend it. It is a shame, with just a little work this place could be a 5 star resort.

It is really just an average roadside motel that happens to be on a beach.

My 11 year old son began to cry when we enter our room - This just broke my heart, since he was so looking forward to his 1st ever family vacation. We were very disappointed as we were paying $318 a night for what is being marketed as a "Oceanfront Resort & Conference Center". We were not expecting, and certainly not paying for motel accomodations, but what we got was an awful experience. The lobby smelled of mold due to an air conditioning vent that leaked right on to a very old carpet. We were in an ocean front room with dirty windows, and the door that goes on to the patio, we had to struggle with to get open when we wanted air. All of the blankets were cheesy looking and all had holes - As if dogs slept on them. The bedsheets were of very poor quality and would roll off of the mattress while you slept, so that you would find yourself sleeping on the bare mattress. The bathroom was very crampt and uncomfortable. The old airconditioner hummed loudly all through the night. The TV reception was poor and although they advertise as having cable TV, they only had basic network television. Additionally, we spotted a roach and when we complained to the Hotel Manager, he simply said that "that was very unusual for rooms on the 2nd floor" - which of course did not give us great comfort. I checked my family every day for any signs of bed bug bites, and when I returned home, I unpacked our bags outside because I was afraid of bringing any bugs into my home, and I had to wash everything in hot water. Our experience was a very uncomfortable, unwelcoming one. We will never go again and certainly would not recommend it.
