Scandic Prinsen is located right in the centre of Trondheim. Our philosophy is that we want everyone to enjoy themselves in our hotel's informal and welcoming atmosphere, so that they will want to visit us again on their next visit to Trondheim, whether for vacations, business trips or conferences. We have one of Trondheim's largest conference departments, where quality and service are high priorities. We offer a wide range of restaurants: the cosy lobby bar Askeladden, our à la carte restaurant Pinocchio and Kieglekroa, the oldest pub in Trondheim. These are popular meeting points both for hotel guests and locals. Harmonious colours and solid furniture give a comfortable atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with bathroom/shower, WC, telephone, TV, radio, hairdryer, trouser press and minibar. Parking is available in our car-park and garage.

All include cable television with pay movies, complimentary wireless Internet access, telephones, clock radios and minibars. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers. The hotel's Egon Restaurant offers a menu of international dishes, and has a children's play area as well as outdoor seating. Guests can unwind with a drink in Kieglekroa, the oldest pub in Trondheim. Kids will receive a surprise upon check-in, and high chairs and children's menus are available in the restaurant, while adults can use discounted access to the nearby 3T Treningssenter health club. The hotel has banquet and conference rooms able to cater for up to 360 people, and there is complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas. The hotel is within 500 metres of the Trøndelag Theatre, Nidaros Cathedral and the National Museum of Decorative Arts, which houses a collection of Norwegian arts and crafts dating from 1500 to 1999. Those looking for a family day out can visit the Pirbadet water park, two kilometres from the hotel. Trondheim-Vaernes Airport is 32 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

Okay
All Review Photos This is a very pleasant, light, modern hotel in a very convenient town centre situation. In particular, if the tram is still running it goes from a street just after the hotel as you walk from the centre.
