The hotel room was very quiet.They provided a coffee pot but no coffee. Most hotels provide a daily package of coffee.“This is an old hotel. The room, although clean, had a stale odor. The hotel is overpriced and so is the restaurant. The bar area...
This is a horrible hotel. Where to start . . . . these are not suites, although the manager told me that was a "matter of opinion". When I asked to be moved to a suite, I was told that they didn't have suites in this "all-suite" hotel. My room had no coffeemaker (provided when I asked, but "we don't give you coffee. There are vending machines, or you can get it from room service". Also, no TV channel guide (it's on the TV), no room service menu, no glasses.
The bar drink I brought to me room had a dead bug in it.
Most importantly I was charged for the room on six separate occasions, some of them overlapping, and when I contacted my bank and they said they didn't reverse charges, the management told me to "get a new bank".
I have gotten no response to my mail to the general manager of The Savoy Suites and the Carlyle Suites.
If you want to hassle every single aspect of your stay, then this is the place for you. I have never stayed in a worse hotel in the United States.
