Tradition, quality and service make of the Hotel Saturnia & International, one of the historic 4 star hotels, to be taken into consideration for an unforgettable stay in Venice. Since 1908 owned and run by the Family Serandrei, now to the 4th generation, the Hotel Saturnia & International and its renowned restaurant " La Caravella " are the result of the care and the professionalism in the service with the continued attention to all guests' wishes. At our guests' disposal a wonderful terrace-solarium with view on the roofs of Venice and La Salute Church, two internet points and a wi-fi area.

Hotel Saturnia is a great ancient original building of the XIV century, some part of the hotel seems old, but actually it is old, and this is why is attractive, being part of history... However I know that the room style is various thus it is possible to get some modern room.
Staff is just great in any department from maids to waiters/waitress in the restaurant or for breakfast. Unfortunately we just stayed 3 days!

Beautiful old building, eccentrically but well decorated in the common areas. Restaurant La Caravella, dining out in the courtyard, was a treat - good food (some of it really great), fine wine (well recommended by the maitre d'), with friendly and efficient service.
Our room (109) was dark and dull. As your gran would have decorated it in the 1930s. One window, facing into a service area, that had to be closed all night due to noise from below. Voices from 6am and bins loading from a little later. A big disappointment after the grandeur of the common areas. There are almost certainly finer rooms, but we didn't see them.
The location, about 5 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco, is ideal.
I went in Dec. 2006 with my family. Location was great as it was minutes walk from San Marco Square. Nice stores and restaurants nearby. Caravella restaurant in the hotel was cozy and nice but very pricey. The staff was excellent and very helpful....

This hotel, an historical 4 star has a strategic location just a couple of minutes from St. Mark's Square (the most important Square of Venice) and is located in one of the greatest via (streets) of Venice the via XXII Marzo, and its full of shops!
They had air conditioning, a free WiFi connection, a solarium, and a great restaurant, La Caravella.
Would go again, but not ideal

Okay
The Saturnia is very well located in the heart of so many areas on Venice. The room I stayed in was very small, TV reception was poor, shower head was way to low and I am not tall, no Internet access in room was a downfall. Dinner restaurant was...
Superb experience a "must to be" hotel

Mediocre
I stayed at the Saturnia in October 2001. The Saturnia has a great location 5 minutes from Piazza San Marco. Some rooms face a courtyard that in nice weather is used by the hotel''s praised La Caravella restaurant. This means you may hear a...
