Under new ownership and newly renovated in 2006, the Santee Inn is an excellent hotel for business or leisure! We are conveniently located in the East San Diego County community of Santee--easily accessible to variety of San Diego attractions, dining, shopping, and public transportation. Our newly renovated property features smoking and non-smoking rooms with either a king, queen, or two double beds. We offer our guests a complimentary continental breakfast, high speed wireless internet, an outdoor pool, and friendly 24-hour front desk service.

This motel is good for the money. Clean, comfortable, and nice staff. Outdoor pool is not heated and breakfast was very basic, but not expected so it was nice.

Recent stay May 07. Price on internet not honored, $2.00 charge for micro/fridge. Bed OK, no clock or coffee maker. Continental breakfast was coffee and breakfastbar or pastry. Linens very thin.

If you need something, just ask the front desk clerk and they will do their best to get you what you need. I needed a fridge in the room and wireless and they got me into a quiet room with both. Also, the place just put in new carpet and remodeled the rooms, so they were very clean. I didn't have to pay franchise/chain prices and I was able to get a room that was similar to a franchised hotel room.

to return to the Santee Inn Motel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
