Our family had been visitors to Sandy Shores for nearly 20 years.
Great place, great location & very guest oriented.
Within the past few years a new management group has been put in place,
and the orientation toward guest service has vanished.
We recently had to cancel a reservation that had been in place for nearly a year, due to a medical situation. Sandy Shores was given six weeks notice.
The confirmation letter stated that because less than 3 monthe notice was given, we would not be refunded our deposit of $150. Not a great amount, but tipifies the new Sandy Shores lack of guest concern.
Prior to the new management teams arrival, I'd have easily rated them a 9.
With the new "take it or leave it" attitude, they get a 3.
These folks seem to have forgotten that there are dozens upon dozens of similar condos up and down Gulf Blvd. that will be glad have you as their guest. After all, it really is about the service, and you can do a LOT better than the new Sandy Shores for your vacation dollar.
