I can't say enough good about this

Excellent
I can't say enough good about this hotel. It was the cleanest I ever had, even blankets and bedspreads are cleaned, unlike most hotels. The employees were always helpful and friendly Great fitness room, the indoor swimming pool was warm and clean,...
This hotel was very loud...large gaps underneath the doors so it sounded like the people out in the hallway were actually in your room. The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. The tap and shower in my room did not work. The location must have...
We used this hotel as a stopover between arriving in Calagary and hiring our motorhome 3 days later. It is a convenient hotel with comfortable rooms, excellent location if you are on foot as right next to tram stop but really quite a walkable...
Car got broken into in their parking lot. Management said....'too bad. so sad"
Creepy guy at the front wont stop staring at you if you are a girl.Tv had no reception, radio did not work. They forgot to put a phone in my room....etc.
The lobby was dirty, the room was dirty, small, musty, bed was terrible. This felt like a 1970's Days In. The food was terrible. Actually worse than that. I have absolutely nothing good to say about my experience and I'm on the first night of...
The hotel is sitiuated in a rather gloomy part of town.Menu prices were expensive. They would not make my bed if i was inside the room,i had to leave.Overall did not enjoy my saty and also the lobby needs updating and refurbishing.Look elsewhere.
22 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
In contrast to the visually impressive lobby, the rooms (at least, the one we had) were not. This is somewhat disappointing because it appeared that they had spent quite a bit on making the first and second floor (where the conference rooms are) look stunning. The room was average, in comparison to other hotels in the downtown area, such as the Westin and the Sheraton. (However, the Sandman may be more geared towards people with moderate budgets for travelling, while the other two are more for the high-end traveller.) All the basic amenities are provided, as well as wireless internet. The room was comfortable and clean.
Service was good. They were quick and friendly during my stay.
There was not much of a view, since it was situated in downtown. Aside from office buildings and a small park, there was not much to see from the large window in the room.
The location of the hotel was excellent. The transit system was a stone's throw away from the building, which took me to most places in the city. It was blocks away from shops, restaurants, night spots, and offices - this would be a desirable location for people going to the city for business. Due to its location, however, the area can be somewhat noisy at night.
The restaurant in the building was Moxie's, a mid-priced contemporary dining area that served excellent food there. If you choose to stay in the hotel, dining here is a good option. If not, there are many other dining spots just minutes away from the building.
For the price, it was okay. It was relatively inexpensive for the rooms in comparison to other hotels in the downtown vicinity. However, the quality does somewhat coordinate with its price.

"The queen size room was much smaller than we had expected including the bathroom, that no more than one person could fit in at a time. The heat didn't work, the picture on the tv was fuzzy and i got burnt in the shower because the water temperature...
