My daughter was married July 7, 2007 in San Angelo. I chose the San Angelo Inn and Conference Center because it was close to the wedding venue and because it had it's own restaurant and bar. We were promised 60 rooms with a drop date of June 25, 2007. Everyone who called within the last week were told that there was no availability. There was a Jehovah's Witness conference in town and they apparently gave our rooms to them. We wound up with only 19 rooms. They put all the wedding guests on the 6th floor which had not been used in a while (according to their maintenance crew.) None of the air conditioners in the hallways worked, so you stepped off the elevator into a sauna. Some of the air conditioners in the rooms didn't work. Several of the rooms smelled of sewage. The maintenance crew said some of the rooms were unusable and the sewer smell was coming from them, so there wasn't anything they could do about the smell. The rooms were dirty - everything seems old and musty. I was very disappointed and embarrassed that I chose this hotel to host my wedding guests.
