"The Samuel Durfee House is an elegant 1803 Federal Period Inn. Convenietly located downtown in Newport, Rhode Island's Yachting Village, we are just a block from the restaurants and shops on Thames Street and a block and a half from Bellevue Avenue's boutiques, mansions, and the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The inn has been beautifully apointed with period antiques and reproductions. Each of our five guest rooms has been uniquely decorated with four-poster, canopy, or sleigh queen bed or two twin beds. All guest rooms have private bathrooms. Enjoy a delicious gourmet breakfast each morning in the parlor or out on the patio.
