Sam's Town takes pride in its accommodations and because of this pride, no detail is left untouched. The 514 rooms and suites in our 23-story hotel tower each have upgraded amenities. Two-room Magnolia suites exist on each guest floor. The 23rd floor houses a number of multi-room suites, ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 square feet. Experience the charm of an authentic Southern riverboat while playing your favorite casino games. The "Shreve Star" was created to look like a 19th century paddle wheeler, incorporating bright colors and the charm of the South. The boat was built in Morgan City, Louisiana, and was moved to Shreveport and opened in February 1995. The "Shreve Star" consists of three uniquely styled casinos, each housed on a different level. With three choices available, all players have the option to discover which casino best fits their desires.

31 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I had to use the bathroom, but in my first room, the bathroom reeked and when I lifted the lid I saw the toilet was clogged and full of disgusting brown water, so I called the front desk and asked if I could please switch rooms immediately. I was simply told a plumber was coming. I called again and I said that the smell was really getting to me and I asked again if I could switch rooms. Then they finally agreed, but I still had to go all the way down to the front desk with all my belongings just to give them the old key and pick up the new key to the new room that was on the same floor I was already on. Getting everything packed and getting dressed again was a real pain, but then they did ultimately switch my room, so then everything was fine after that.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Sam's Town Shreveport.
I might recommend it to friends.

I booked two days and I wanted to stay for a third day. I had to change rooms because the one I was in was already booked by someone else. I went to a lesser room for more money.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The rooms were very spacious and clean. It was very quiet except for a fire alarm test in the early morning. I was surprised that the room had a refrigerator. We had a great time. It is in walking distance to several good sights.
Everyone was very friendly, most even took the time to tell us their names if we needed help. Some even remembered our faces the following day.
I am very likely
to return to the Sam's Town Shreveport.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We stayed here for my husbands b-day. The resturant in the casino had very slow service and when the food did arrive it was cold. The rooms "appeared" to be clean. When we pulled the covers back that night to go to sleep...HUGE STAIN!!! And to...

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Of course we didn't expect to win any money. Playing slots is no way to win. They were tight. But the hotel and casino were very nice. I didn't like the cocktail waitresses due to rude behavior when i asked...
