OH MY GOSH! WHERE TO BEGIN....Upon arrival (Parking) confusing!!! We circled Conti at least 5 times because we were not told that we had to park 2 blocks away. When we finally reached the parking destination we had to leave our car and bags until we checked in. We had to walk through one hotel down a back hall through through the kitchen out to the courtyard into the lobby of one hotel across the street through a parking garage across the street to the Saint Ann Hotel. Once we were at the front desk to check in, the employee of the hotel was on a personal call laughing and talking like we were not in her presence. We paid an extra mandatory $12 dollars for newspaper and breakfast (a small multigrain muffin and 1 cup of coffee). After checking in we had to go back to our car (yeap - back through the garage in front of Saint Ann) through the lobby of Saint Marie Hotel, through the courtyard, through a back door that led through the kitchen of the hotel down a back hall back into the garage were our car was being parked (Valet Parking). We gave our car keys to the valet parking attendants and took our bags out of the vehicle and thought we were going to be picked up or something. No.....we had to go back down the back hall (you know the rest). When we finally made it to our room (everything took an hour) getting off the elevator (3rd floor) to the right the window was gone (you could actually jump to your death) NO WINDOW!!! The place had an awful smell of mildew and musk!!!! When we opened the door to our room, the odor was really bad!!! There was an armour in the room with an old 19inch tv hide inside. The bathroom had old concrete floor tile, an old nasty tub and shower with soap scum all over it. The shower curtain had mold, old nasty hair stuck to it from somebody washing their hair. The toilet had residue on it from comet powder (cleaning scrub). And the marble that the website was talking about --- LOL!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!! It was around the little small sink full of caulking!!!!! There was no clock and the telephone in the room DID NOT WORK!!! If you needed to call the front desk, you had to use your personal phone or walk to the front desk!! There was no iron in the room, but there was an ironing board with no padding. Due to the phones not working, my husband had to go down to the front desk to request an iron. They sent someone to the room with an iron that spit water all over your clothes, while ironing. Back to the smell of mildew and musk.....He asked the front desk if they could give him a can of air freshner...They sent up some spic n span spray! The services, staff, food (1 muffin), hospitality were awful!!!! The only good thing about this hotel, was that it was 1/2 block from bourbon and you didn't have to stumble too far to get to your room after drinking and partying all night! If you are looking for a place near bourbon street, then Saint Ann is the place. If you are looking for a nice place with all the amentities and hospitality....LOOK ELSEWHERE! They will never get another $150 from me again (1 night stay) By the way...I am still waiting on that newspaper!

My wife and decided to make an unscheduled stop in New Orleans. We chose the St. Ann/Marie Antoinette. The charm and ambience of the place was wonderful. It being an older establishment there were quirks that is to be expected. The room was very clean, house keeping and the front desk were most courteous. The location was half a block from the Bourbon St and yet we were not desturbed by the activity from there. There was complimentary coffee and danishes in the morning, my only problem was that one morning there was no coffee, they were out. But even with that my wife and I were very pleased and plan to come back and bring the kids.

Great French Quarter location. Great hotel in the best location in the heart of the French Quarter. 1/2 block from Bourbon Street and all the action. Excelent hotel rates. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recomend this hotel for everyone.

I am very likely to return to the Saint Ann Marie Antoinette Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We shared our room with mice. Not one mouse, four or five mice ran from under our bed. We reported this to the front desk and he wasn't surprised. He moved us to another room where he said we shouldn't have this problem. I had a very nervous night of sleep.
