Our first room assignment did not work out; the room had never been cleaned and not ready for occupation. The second room (for which we paid for an upgrade) was nicer but had standing water on the floor. Housekeeping responded to this problem by taking the towels in the room and throwing them on the floor (leaving the room with no towels) and leaving them there. Once again I had to call and deal with the front desk and they did eventually send a Plummer who fixed the leak. Overall the Sahara is well worn, has poor accommodations, an apathetic/incompetent staff, and generally not worth the visit. There are nicer places to stay in Vegas for the same money.
