I spent two sleeps there and felt safe and welcome. I was traveling alone, had the room # 20 which was right by the table out front where the managers and family and friends would sit. I didn't find them loud or out there all night. I enjoyed sitting in the swing myself! The pool was wonderful. A friend came to join me for the day and there wasn't a problem with that. The room was clean, the shower was great and I didn't stand in ankle deep water. I would stay there again. I know management is changing soon. I hope the next managers are just as personable. It was comfortable and cheap.

For about the same money I could have stayed at a chain hotel that didn't have people sitting around outside half the night keeping you awake. Seems the manager and family or friends have a table outside, they sat there all day and night, loud. The blankets were from about the 70's, and on the back side of them were stained bad. The shower was ok, just stand in ankle deep water the whole time from slow drain. The breakfast I don't think would pass health department standards. The A/c was noisy and furniture was probably from the 70's as well, and in need of repair. The chairs were so stained I didnt sit in them. What hotel has 20' tv's anymore, these were so old and dusty.

I took my first trip from Iowa to arkansas all by myself. No kids no hubby.

This is the first motel I have ever got by myself.

They were so nice.

I wear a wig and I wanted to swim for the first time in 15 years. I told them I was so scared to take off my wig in public. They moved my room to the back so I was right by the pool. I was also missing my dogs and the managers sat down with me and I got to play a little bit with there dog. I felt very welcome.

My room was large and on the corner towards the back. ( half circle)

Yes, they need a new TV. Yes, they could use new lamp shades. But it was clean!!! The towels were very fresh smelling.

I plan on staying there again. Infact every year on my way down to see my mother. A little mini vaction just for myself.

There are places to eat right next door. A major plus when you do not want to drive anymore that day.

Nice older motel, great management and friendly atmosphere!
