Okay
Stayed there for 11 days in a king deluxe. Room was very small, view was horrible, carpet in room had a huge stain soon as you walk in. In general I needed to wear shoes at all times, the carpet just felt dirty and sticky.

33 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
Staying overnight on business in Sydney and needed a hotel quickly, I found this one on the web.
It used to be the Avillion hotel but is now being run by Rydges. It's got a great central location near to Darling Harbour and some cool places to eat in Chinatown. Plus it's about a 5 minute walk to the main shopping area (Pitt Street) and right on the monorail (if you fancy a trip around the city).
I got a good rate on the Rydges website too.
Breakfast was actually better than expected, and my room is good quality too. Surprisingly quiet for a hotel in the middle of town as well.
